Brendan started his career as Accountant and Farm Management Advisor with Chartered Accountants, Bird Cameron in Perth. His 30+ year career has has spanned Executive and Business Development roles and Directorships across a range of industries including Accounting and Business Advisory, Food & Agribusiness, Banking and Finance, Retail, Information Technology and Sport (Rugby Union).
Brendan is a member of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science, Australian Organic (formally Biological Farmers of Australia), the Australia China Business Council and a number of other regional and professional groups. Brendan is passionate about transforming agri-food businesses through strategy, value innovation and growth. Brendan is the founder and principal of Biocentric.
He has lived and worked extensively in Queensland and regional NSW, with brief stints in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Hong Kong.

Janette is a leading food technology consultant with over thirty years’ experience in the technical development of new products for food manufacturers and processors. Applying the Best Practice Product Development approach, Janette uses a disciplined staged path to accelerate the commercialisation of food products with the goal of ‘getting it right the first time’.
This approach mitigates risks and quantifies development costs to help clients make critical ‘Go/No Go’ product development decisions. Janette manages the innovation process by streamlining new product development thorough the scoping and setting of realistic timeframes and schedules to ensure sound product development and trials before launch.She is committed to delivering innovative, safe, compliant, profitable products that can successfully compete in an aggressive marketplace.
